Our Workshops

Modern Art Courses

Theatre

In our Foundation we are giving theatre courses in two groups. Our theatre courses which are formed according to age groups are aimed at encouraging children to grow healthy relationships, help their psychological well-being, to have self-confidence and to convey their creativity and theatrical talent. Theatre contributes to social, emotional and intellectual evolution of the children and improvement of critical thinking ability. Children learn how to see life with a critical point of view. After this, children have the ability to perceive events, facts and concepts logically and learn not to accept all the things they learn but question them first. Theatre is a very important way of learning. Children can learn how to see the connection between events by taking part in theatre. Their ability to solve problems can develop and they can survive by themselves.

Drama

Drama is to tell an opinion through movements and with the language of the body. Since all the senses are fully used in drama, children’s communication skills like attention, perception, listening and speaking develop. Eventually they learn how to express themselves. Drama leads children to leave their negative feelings like timidity and shyness. Drama helps children to realize the abstract events because it is performed through playing. Even though it is complicated children can easily understand and they learn how to cope with conflicts. It enlarges the children’s imagination. As long as the imagination is a fatal component of art, drama is very important for children to grow as artists.

Modern Dance

In this activity, it is aimed to help children’s physical and motional development and to contribute to their emotional and social evolution. With these dance courses it is also aimed the children to create a body discipline, psychological evolution and to convey their artistic ability.

Folk Dances

Folk Dance courses are given in two groups. This course aims to provide physical education and discipline, to provide body discipline with psychological discipline and rehabilitation, to convey artistic ability. Since it is a group activity, it helps children to cooperate and communicate. It accelerates social evolution.

Ceramic

Ceramic courses are given in two groups according to ages (6-8 and 8-11 ages). For those who apply to our foundation for the ceramic course, it is aimed to provide psychological rehabilitation, to canalize active energy with artistic work, to bring the habit of working in groups, to bring dexterity, to convey the artistic ability, to raise attention and sensitivity, to support the development of perception, association, and connection between the events and the facts.

Drawing

Drawing course aims to convey artistic ability and to develop it, to communicate through drawing, to enlarge the imagination and creativity, to create a connection between the events and the facts and to develop a positive point of view. We are going to continue to our drawing course as a mobile course for those who live far away from our foundation.

Music courses

It aims to encourage people express their feelings and thoughts through music and to think critically, to help them gain the habit of working either with other people or working individually.

Bağlama

Bağlama is the one of the most widely-used instruments that we use to show our culture. Thus by giving these courses to youngsters and giving them the opportunity to use what they learn in these courses with music groups, we aim to have positive results. Now there are 11 students of this course.
