SCHOLARSHIP

                        Basak Culture and Art Foundation have been established to emphasize on problems of the young adults and children who are negatively affected by poverty and forced migration and to support and help them.

We organize events, workshops of; music, creative drama, theatre, painting, ceramics, mime, folk dancing to bring out and develop artistic capacities of poor and disadvantaged children and young people and fight against barriers of their personal development.

                        We carry out protective, preventive and creative works for the young people, who are lower-income, poor, aggrieved by migration, to cope with their problems, to express themselves.

            As Basak Culture and Art Foundation, we are going to continue to support students according to requirements!

            Since 2002 we have supported 117 students to continue their education and provided to raise their success through these scholarships.

            There are 89 students, who applied to us in term of fall-spring 2009 – 2010. Concerning the emergency of their financial situation we are planning to support 30 students with 100TL per month during 7 months (their education period). The cost of scholarship for each student is 700 TL per year and total amount of scholarships for his year is 21.000TLAt the moment BSV are giving scholarships for 9 students with our very limited recourses and with supports of our donations. We are kindly expecting to support us for the scholarships for the rest 21 students.
