SUCCESS OF BASAK YOUTH Youngsters of Başak Culture and Art Foundation achieved a great success with the projects they completed. The projects named The Voice Of Youth and Different Lifes, Common Hopes; which are made by Başak youngsters and funded by European Union Youth Program Central Presidency, are selected as projects with creative, innovative ideas and thoughts by the evaluation done on behalf of “2009 Europe Creativity and Innovation Year”.Thereby Başak Culture and Art Foundation became the only NGO whose two projects were together selected as model projects in the Europe Creativity and Innovation Year Meeting.
“2009 Europe Creativity and Innovation Year” meeting was organised by Turkish National Agency in April 11, 2009. As the only organisation from İstanbul in the meeting, Başak Culture and Art Foundation, who makes youngsters from different religious, social and economic groups come together, presented its projects, shared the excitement,experience and knowledge of realizing projects and told about the projects that it has done and it is planning to make, to the representatives of National Agency, participants of various NGOs, academicians and students from various universities in Ankara like ODTÜ and Bilkent.Ayşe Tepe presented Basak Culture and Art Foundation’s project named “Different Lives Common Hopes” on behalf of Action 2 European Volunteer Service. Mehmet Ali Düzgün (project coordinator) and Reyzan Sahin(project participant) presented the project named “The Voice of Youth” on behalf of Action 1.3 Youth and Democracy. It has been a great source of motivation for Başak Youth, who live under difficult conditions in a big metropolis like İstanbul and who got over the obstacles with great success, that the projects they realized are selected as model projects.Youngsters who participate in the actions of Başak Culture and Art Foundation are continuing to generate creative ideas and to spend their efforts for human, who is the biggest among the worlds, with the projects they realize under the light of art and culture.With kind regards;
