J I FEEL JUST LIKE I AM ACTING IN THE BOOK

J My imagination world is growing up.
J When I read book I am feeling like I am living in a different world!
J I am reading also I am learning
J I am reading with pleasure, at first I was bored but now I love reading.
J When I start a book, I just want to finish because I wonder its end too much…

    These ideas belong to Basak children who borrowed books from our library. They are 8-13 years old kids. We held a meeting with these children about books and reading on 03/07/2008.  In our foundation, we have a very big and rich library and kids can use this library whenever they want. Our neighbours and other kids can use it also.

    We are recording all information about borrowing books in this case we can learn answer of these questions; “How many books did a kid borrow?” “Which subjects are all these books?” “Which subject is more interesting for kids?” and we can observe our kids closely.

  In the meeting we gave gifts (t-shirt) to the three of our children. Because they read more books from the others. They are;  

1.Tuðba Burç 
2.Nazlý Burç
3.Dicle Kuaz 

    Best manners are given to the children when they are a little kid. In this case we think that the love of book can fill children with power of life. We are trying for this.

    We will keep on our activities as Basak Culture and Art Foundation from this idea. We are ordering a contest about books for evolution kid’s free times, and to adapt them on life, that’s way we wanted best book’s brief from them until 31 July.   

    First 3 kids who will make best brief, we will give them presents. For the first; a bicycle, for the second; a photo machine, for the third MP3 Player…
